Everybody remember that essay I wrote? "...To be an American..."? Well, as of now, I'm getting ready to go to town to read it aloud... in front of a bunch of people. I won third place! And I thought I wouldn't place... true, I didn't put as much effort into it; her formats suck.

I'm clean, and hot, just got out of the shower. Grabbed me a glass of milk, CC's going to fix my hair, it's all good. My friend's back and is okay, no idea how relieved that makes me. Lifts a few bricks off my shoulders, unnnnh. *falls over* whoops.

Anywho. Mom's coming home on Saturday, and if I have my room cleaned by then, I can have contacts. At least- it'll be in discussion mode. Birthday's on Sunday: I'm going to be fourteen! Finally. I'm done with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and since I have my AR goal, have decided to turn to my oh so boring driver's handbook. I mean, I'll be fourteen, I'll be able to test for my learner's.
